Angie, an experienced trauma therapist for refugees, has walked out of her office and into numbed seclusion afer one too many encounters with extreme suffering. While isolated at

home, a spate of binge-watching leads to fascination with the band Journey and its iconic lead singer, Steve Perry, whom she believes is a reclusive kindred spirit. Motivated for the first time in months, Angie begins a correspondence with Perry, exploring and sharing about her past, her inspirations, and the relationships that brought her to this place. Like warming up from frostbite, Angie is able to feel again, emerging renewed and at peace with the darkness and light around her.
